10.20 Three new community Covid-19 cases today in Papatoetoe
There are now eleven cases of Covid 19 linked to the Valentines Day outbreak in Auckland.This evening officials revealed two siblings of today's positive case from Papatoetoe High School also have the virus and the family of six have been moved to the Jetpark quarantine hotel. Karyn speaks with Lotu Fuli, the chair of the Otara-Papatoetoe Community Board.
10.25 Sort Out The Dross in Southland
More revelations today, this time from the Environment Minister David Parker that New Zealand Aluminium Smelters has not been open about the state of their site near Bluff. The aluminium smelter at Bluff has stockpiled more than 100,000 tonnes of cyanide-laced hazardous waste less than 100 metres from a fast-eroding Southland beach. 10.30 Facebook and Australia's Government agree to news content
Facebook will end its ban on news sites in Australia, after it reached agreement with the government involving changes to proposed media laws. It follows a backlash to Facebook's response to the laws, which would force tech giants to pay news outlets for their content. Karyn speaks with Dr Belinda Barnet who is the senior lecturer in Media and Communications at Melbourne's Swinburne University of Technology.

When the New Zealand borders closed to international visitors the tourism and hospital sectors took an immediate hit.
