A discussion has begun on Twitter as Senior Lecturer at Auckland University of Technology and political theorist Dr David Hall made a bold statement regarding Northland's border. The lecturer shared his decision to stay out of the Northland region despite the Government's announcement to allow travellers in. He joins Karyn to explain why he is putting Northland's need above his own.
10:25 Court halts apartment construction
An under-construction 13-unit apartment project has been told to halt work as neighbours have won a court battle against it. The Remuera neighbours came together to challenge developer Kurt Gibbons and the council's non-notification and resource consent granting. Resource management lawyer Richard Brabant was one of the applicants and joins the show to explain why they fought against it and how they managed to win.

People waiting in MIQ rooms in Auckland have had a major treat today - their first live gig without even having to leave their hotel rooms. Auckland band, Racing, have performed the free mobile gigs on an improvised stage on a flat-bed truck outside three hotels - the M-Social, Naumi Hotel at Auckland Airport and the Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre.
