10:25 Wētāpunga released into mainland Aotearoa

It's a big day in the life of Aotearoa's largest living insects. 200 wētāpunga - giant wētā - have been released into Shakespear regional park today. They came from a Captive Rear-and-Release Programme at Butterfly Creek.
