As Cyclone Gita tracks toward New Zealand we talk to MetService's Lisa Murray for the very latest.
Heavy rain's expected to lash the upper South Island with 120mms of rain in 24 hours; severe gales are forecast for Wellington and Taranaki and big seas with waves up to six and a half metres high.
We head to Karamea where it's just begun to rain and local, Ray Douglas, is waiting nervously to see how bad the weather gets.

Karen works with authors to help them realise their dreams. She's also a published author of twelve books, some fiction, some non-fiction, under the name Karen McMillan.

Their vinyl album AK79 came out in December 1979, on Ripper Records, and captured the the punk zietgeist
