Responding with non-violence to US mass shootings

Over the weekend two mass shootings in the US were only 13 hours apart. A massacre on a busy Saturday morning in a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, killed 20 and injured at least 26, followed by a shooting in Dayton Ohio, in the early hours on Sunday morning killing nine people.

Professor Kevin Clements is the Chair and Foundation Director of The National Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Otago. He speaks with Karyn Hay about President Trump and non-violent responses to violent extremism.
