The colour green can be associated with many things - nature, growth, money and greed being some of them. But in the literary realm the colour green is often more closely associated with crime.
Dr Carolyn McKay is a visual artist, author and senior lecturer at the University of Sydney Law School. She recently penned a piece for The Conversation, about how crime books embraced lurid green.
