A minimum wage increase of $1.20 an hour, 6 percent, bringing it to $21.20 per hour has been confirmed for 1 April by the Government. The Unions say they'd rather see it at 22-dollars-75 which is the Living wage, but businesses are calling the increase "a slap in the face".
