Waiheke Musical Museum was founded by Lloyd and Joan Whittaker in 1996, and houses a variety of antique instruments, many of which have an unusual backstory. The museum is in Oneroa on Waiheke Island, and operates on a volunteer basis.

Tony Stamp visited the museum to meet three of those volunteers - Gerda Gorgner, Dr Don Simmer, who performed on some of the instruments, and Kim Whitaker, who was Tony's tour guide, and is the first voice we’ll hear.
