Wi Pere Mita on 50 years of Te Matatini Kapa Haka

To celebrate fifty years of kapa haka the TM50 Project is being launched which will include an album featuring 50 waiata since 1972 from the Maori Performing Arts Festival, Te Matatini. A book and visual content will also be available from later this week. Wi Pere Mita is the Head of Operations for Te Matatini and he looks back at the rich history of the world's greatest kapa haka event and its prospects for the future.
