Master carver James Rickard

Chances are you have seen some of James Rickard's work across the land, or even in places like Passchendaele in Belgium and Singapore. James Te Taonui a Kupe Rickard was a part of the first carving school intake at the New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute in 1967. After 55 years he is resting his toki to spend time with whanau.
