Te Reo Maori, haka and poi in the USA

The founder and CEO of Learn Maori Abroad, Amelia Butler, lives in Los Angeles and she also heads the performance group Nga Anahera Maori. Her online Te Reo Maori classes started in 2018 with ten students in New York and has since expanded to include students across the USA, Vietnam, Europe, the Middle East and Canada. She has taught haka as part of coroporate events and is once again starting her in-person performance classes with a poi workshop.
