Bob Seger - Nine Tonight Live (Capitol)

Regarded as one of the great live albums of rock, this 1980 recording showcases Seger's hard-edged soul and rhythm and blues sound eleven albums and twelve years in to his long career as he was on the road promoting the "Against The Wind" album. This is basically a greatest hits live set, recorded in his home town of Detroit and in Boston and on its release in 1981 got to #3 on the Billboard charts. With his crack hot Silver Bullet Band, Seger's shows were often compared to Springsteen's for their passionate dynamic heartland rock 'n' roll.
