The 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and Paralympics are being postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic, and may happen as late as August 2021.
This decision has felt somewhat inevitable, as countries started to pull out over coronavirus concerns.
But regardless, it's left a lot of athletes disappointed.
The New Zealand boxer and double Commonwealth Games gold medallist, David Nyika, had just qualified for his first Olympics at the start of the month, after missing out on the 2016 Rio Games.
