A lockdown in itself won't be enough to eliminate Covid-19 in New Zealand, Parliament's Epidemic Committee has been told.
The Health Minister, David Clark, and the Director General of Health, Ashley Bloomfield, have appeared before the committee, which sat for the first time today.
MPs were told testing and tracing needed to be ramped up in order to beat the coronavirus in New Zealand.
