The head of an iwi-led Covid-19 response hub, says the impact on Māori in Rotorua has been immense and a new project aims to get people back into mahi.
Te Arawa Covid-19 Hub has formed a partnership with the Ministry of Social Development to help connect whānau - many who have never been unemployed - to jobs.
The Hub lead, Karen Vercoe, told Māni Dunlop why the partnership was set up.
