The head of Forest and Bird feels genuinely hopeful about the future of Aotearoa for the first time in his life, following the launch of the government's biodiversity strategy.
It was launched by the Conservation Minister Eugenie Sage this morning - it builds on projects like Predator Free New Zealand and includes targets for things like pollution, carbon storage, and getting pigs and deer out of sensitive areas.
