Carterton District Councillor Rob Stockley spent his te reo Māori moment this week serving coffee at a local cafe completely in te reo.
He has been learning for three years after initially taking up classes at Te Wananga o Raukawa in Otaki.
He told Te Aniwa Hurihanganui that moving to Carterton a few years ago and becoming a Councillor has rekindled his love for the language.
