Three deaths in French Polynesia as Covid cases rise

The Covid-19 pandemic is flaring up in some parts of the pacific, with three people dying this week alone in French Polynesia.

The Pacific nation has seen a rise of about 13-hundred cases since the beginning of August, after the country reopened its borders and abolished mandatory quarantine to boost tourism.
