The small Taranaki town of Inglewood is preparing to host one of rugby's greatest challenges this weekend, with the Taranaki Bulls set to defend the Ranfurly Shield when it hosts Otago on Sunday.
The stadium holds about 4-thousand people - a few hundred more than the population of Inglewood - and it will be packed after this week's move to Alert Level 1.
The New Plymouth District Council deputy mayor, Richard Jordan, is from Inglewood and spoke with Māni Dunlop.
