House prices are continuing to break records across the country, with the median now selling for 685-thousand dollars.
The Real Estate Institute's monthly report shows nine regions recorded new highs during September.
In Gisborne, prices are up 46 percent on last year; and on the West Coast they're up 35 percent.
And the number of houses sold is also booming.
