Kaumātua in the Far North are being advised by iwi leaders to stay at home, following the latest community case of Covid-19.
Te Tai Tokerau iwi leaders met yesterday to discuss how best to protect their people from the community case in the region.
Visitors are being asked to stay away from the region, while next week's Waitangi celebrations are being reconsidered.
