New Zealand actor, Peter Vere-Jones, will be remembered for his "golden voice", after dying yesterday aged 82.
He had been a professional actor since the 1960s and his career included parts in several radio plays, a stint on Shortland Street and acting in Peter Jackson films such as Bad Taste and the second Hobbit film,
Ken Blackburn has acted alongside Vere-Jones since the 1960s and is with us now.
