New Zealand's Covid-19 vaccine roll-out begins this afternoon - with those who will be administering the Pfizer immunisations the first in line.
It comes almost a year after the country's first confirmed case of the virus.
Dr Fran Priddy is the clinical director of the Vaccine Alliance Aotearoa New Zealand – Ohu Kaupare Huaketo – and is working alongside Government on its Covid immunisation strategy.
She told Meriana Johnsen what the those who are getting inoculated can expect.
