A third of maternal ICU admissions preventable, says reseacher

There are growing calls by women for better access to healthcare, and for the government to create a National Women's Health and Wellbeing Strategy and Action Plan. Policymakers, doctors, educators - they're calling for an overhaul of the country's health system, which they say is failing women, wahine māori and trans and non-binary people. Max Towle speaks to Dr Jane MacDonald from the Centre for Women's Health research about maternal healthcare.
