Animal welfare campaigners welcome livestock shipping ban

The government will ban livestock exports by sea, in a bid to protect the animals and the country's reputation. The industry will have up to two years to stop exports. Last year more than 100,000 breeding cattle were shipped to China by sea, at a value of $255 million. Some exporters say the trade is humane, and it's immoral to remove that much money from the economy. The chief executive of SAFE Debra Ashton speaks to Joe Porter.
