Details for Covid-19 vaccination rollout announced
Health officials are looking into an indeterminate Covid-19 test result in Stewart Island. Given the relative isolation, they believe it's probably not a case, but as a precaution, a local childcare centre is closed for the rest of the week, and possible local contacts are being asked to isolate. More testing is underway. Meanwhile in Auckland, the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is providing an update on Covid-19 vaccinations, including how they'll be rolled out across the rest of the population. RNZ's health correspondent Rowan Quinn speaks to Perlina Lau on Midday Report.
Please note the following correction: current indications are the vaccine should be available for over 45-year-olds from mid-August, and over 35-year-olds from September.
