The Government will announce this afternoon whether or not it will be popping the trans-Tasman travel bubble.
Multiple Australian states are bracing for an increase of Covid-19 cases, as officials struggle to contain the spread of the Delta variant.
The Director General of Health, Dr Ashley Bloomfield, the Covid-19 Response Minister, Chris Hipkins, and the Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, will be making the announcement at 1.30pm.
