New Zealand Rugby has announced a six-year sponsorship deal with the petrochemical company INEOS.
The New Zealand Rugby chief executive, Mark Robinson, says they are comfortable with their decision to partner with the multinational, after concerns were raised that aligning with the company could harm our clean, green image.
But the news has sparked outrage and dissapointment from some climate activists.
