High-intensity audits pay off for Waiau school

A pilot to turn around struggling schools through high-intensity audits by the Education Review Office has helped transform one southern school. Waiau Area School was plagued by dilapidated buildings, staffing shortages, and twelve principal changes in ten years. But that's now in the past.
