The Bay of Plenty District Health Board has apologised to the Pasifika community for the distress and hurt caused by wrongly requesting passports to be presented at Covid-19 vaccination appointments. The Associate Health Minister, Ayesha Verrall, says she is concerned it will leave people feeling unwelcome and stigmatised.
