School community split between Alert Levels two and four

There's been excitement and anxiety among both kids and their parents, as hundreds-of-thousands of students returned to school today. But 10km south of the Bombay Hills, the Mangatawhiri School community is divided across the borders and Covid Alert Levels. Michael Cropp spoke to the principal Sharron Scouse who said that although 124 students are in Alert Level 4 and 96 students are in Alert Level 2, just 19 students and four teachers turned up for class today.
