In another blow for the events sector the South Island's largest springtime event, the Canterbury A and P show has been cancelled.
Due to take place next month the event usually attracts a hundred thousand people.
It's the second year the show has been cancelled due to Covid-restrictions.
It joins a long list of A and P shows that have had to be called off.
