The man who murdered police officer Matthew Hunt and tried to kill his colleague has been jailed for life - with a minimum non parole period of 27 years.
Eli Epiha shot at the two officers in a West Auckland street in June last year, during a traffic stop.
Māni Dunlop spoke to RNZ's Katie Todd, who was at the sentencing at the High Court in Auckland.
