Over 30's charged more for the chance at love

If you've ever delved into the world of online dating apps - or Tinder specifically, you'd be with familiar the "binging" sound that rings out when you get a match.

But it turns out, the older singles might be paying more for that service in the quest for love.

Research by Consumer NZ has revealed those over 30 are charged more than their younger counterparts for Tinder Plus - the paid version of the app.

Consumer NZ's Dr Cherie Lacey spoke to Māni Dunlop about the disparities when swiping right.
