Thousands of health workers will strike next month following lengthy pay negotiations.
The Public Services Association union confirmed that DHB health workers will hold a 24-hour strike on the 16th of May.
PSA organiser Will Matthews said not enough progress had been made in negotiations with DHB employers.
He spoke to Māni Dunlop.
