New Zealand has reaffirmed its commitment to Samoa by giving 15 million dollars to the country's climate change response, and an additional 12 million towards rebuilding Apia's Savalalo Market.
The historic market was destroyed by a fire in 2016.
The announcement follows a meeting between the prime ministers of the two countries after they marked the 60-year anniversary of the treaty of friendship last night.
