Australia wants to ban refugees arriving by boat forever

The Australian government is planning to introduce legislation to ban asylum seekers who arrive by boat from ever being allowed into Australia. Malcolm Turnbull says this will send a strong message to the people smugglers but barrister and refugee advocate Julian Burnside is horrified.
