Gisborne businesses can re-open their doors today, two days after they had to stop selling because the city had no power.
Electricity was restored to the Eastland Network just before 7pm last night, after crews completed urgent repairs to an 800-metre span of high-voltage powerlines brought down by a plane on Monday morning.
