New Zealander Clinton Thinn, who is in jail in the US charged with bank robbery and the murder of his cell mate, is continuing to deny he has any mental health or drug problems.

Thinn, who is the step-brother of National cabinet minister Nikki Kaye, is being held at a detention facility in San Diego.
Freelance Journalist Sam Boyer travelled to San Diego to speak to Clinton Thinn at the maximum security prison where he is being held.
He told Morning Report Thinn refuses to accept there's any truth to the charges and doesn't fully grasp his situation.
