Locals have described the terrain in a West Auckland regional park where police have been searching for an Auckland woman, as difficult, with steep cliffs and falling rocks.
Kim Bambus has been missing since Friday morning when she drove her yellow car to Piha's Ahuahu Track for a jog.
The 21 year old's Hyundai Getz was found near the entrance to the track on Saturday.
About 40 police and search and rescue volunteers have spent the weekend scouring the area for any sign of her.
