Greens' Turei calls for amnesty for welfare cheats

Last week Greens' co-leader Metiria Turei revealed she'd lied to Work and Income as a young solo mother in order to receive more benefits. She made the admission while releasing the party's family package and she's received plenty of support for it. Now the party wants the Government to hold an amnesty for current beneficiaries who've broken the law.
