'They thought he was homeless, no one cared'
The mother of an alcoholic man who was dumped at a bus shelter by Christchurch Hospital, and died two days later, says animals are treated better. Neil Jones, 47, died of alcoholic liver disease in 2013 - two days after being discharged from hospital. The Coroner has criticised the hospital's decision to discharge Mr Jones after a doctor concluded he was soiling himself on purpose.
