Taxpayer will foot bill for low-level tertiary courses - National

The Education Minister Chris Hipkins is dismissing National's claim the government's zero fees policy will result in a return of low-level courses like golf, homeopathy and sky diving. National's Tertiary Education Spokesperson Paul Goldsmith says he's happy to be proved wrong but the point is if education is free the door will be open for "less thoughtful decision-making".
