NZ must 'keep up' on fixing child poverty - Commissioner
The latest Child Poverty Monitor shows the number of children living in hardship in New Zealand dropped by 5,000 in the past year. That's being welcomed by Children's Commissioner Judge Andrew Becroft but he says there's still a lot of work to do to help the remaining 290,000 children in low-income homes and the 135,000 lacking basic items for everyday living. He discusses the issue with Guyon Espiner.
