Global warming? - Don't sweat it says Auckland Council
Hotter days, more floods and frequent landslides from rising sea levels are on the cards for Auckland by the end of the century. A Niwa report commissioned by Auckland Council shows sea levels could rise by 30 centimetres by the year 2050. That sort of rise could cause damage to homes and coastal erosion. Laura Tupou went to the suburb of St Heliers where she spoke to locals about the changing landscape.
