Gas needed to transition from coal - energy commentator
Calls for the government to stop all oil, gas and coal mining in New Zealand have been labelled as short-sighted by an energy industry commentator. Greenpeace's Russel Norman told Morning Report the Government's stance on transitioning away from fossil fuels isn't good enough and says no new mining or exploration permits should be granted at all. But Energy News editor Gavin Evans says that's not practical.
