The Rātana stage is set and this morning the country's politicians will descend on the small community near Whanganui to celebrate the birthday of the Māori prophet and spiritual leader Tahupotiki Wiremu Rātana. This year, 100 years ago, the spiritual leader had a vision driving him to preach the gospel and heal people through prayer earning him the name of the 'Māori Miracle Man'. From Whanganui, RNZ Maori Issues correspondent Mihingarangi Forbes tells Susie Ferguson there's a smaller presence from the Māori Party.
