Transport funding shake-up a win for the Greens

The proposed shake-up to government transport funding is being hailed by the Greens as exciting and transformative, but motorists will be left footing a lot of the bill. Under the draft Policy Statement on Land Transport, spending on public transport would double over three years - and a total of $11 billion over ten years.
