Govt not trusted with New Zealanders' personal data
The government admits many people don't trust it to safeguard their personal data. Social Development Minister Carmel Sepuloni says the previous government's ill-fated attempt to demand personal information from welfare groups has undermined public confidence. Ms Sepuloni wants new ground rules and while social service groups say it's a necessary conversation, they warn the public should be cautious. Political reporter Benedict Collins has more.
