The Hurricanes captain Brad Shields has been rushed into the England rugby squad, immediately after gaining clearance from New Zealand Rugby. The England coach Eddie Jones sees the 27-year-old flanker as part of his plans up to next year's World Cup and has been named in the squad for June's three test series against the Springboks.
